Candolim beach is a part of a long stretch of beach coastline along the Arabian sea. The beach begins at Aguada fort and ends at Chapora fort. This is also the birth place of Abba Faria, considered to be one of Goan freedom fighters and the father of hypnotism.
Candolim beach is one of the quite beaches in Goa. It is still far from the madding crowds, that are generally found on other beaches. A place where one can indulge in different water sports and enjoy swimming with sun bath. A charming destination that mesmerizes every one that visits it. |

Fort Aguada |

Fort Aguada was built in the 1612. The northern side of the fort has two beaches, one of them is Calangute and the other one is Condolim. It is one of the most visited spots in Goa. There are many resorts, villas and guest houses around this fort. |

Visit by Road - Candolim beach is connected well with the rest of the country by road. One can avail the services of bus and taxi or hire a bike. Buses stop every twenty minutes at the stand opposite the Casa sea shell. Buses from Panaji (Panjim) stop frequently in Candolim.
